PES Engineers
Pvt. Ltd. aspires to create eco-friendly environment for sustainable
development by promoting environment awareness among
employees and the neighbourhood population, adopting
environmentally acceptable procedures and restricting
environmental degradation and pollution to the barest minimum.
Environment-Friendly Initiatives
 PES
has discontinued sandblasting despite its cost advantage and has
opted for the more expensive steel grit
blasting. Though sandblasting is not banned by most states
and clients, PES has undertaken this initiative a few years ago
since it recognizes the long-term hazards
of sandblasting to employees, co-workers and others
who are exposed to abrasive blasting by silica. Silicosis is a
known effect of this process and often
results in fatalities. Sandblasting is banned in most western
countries.
PES
conducts awareness programs for the local population wherever possible
to enable them to adopt sustainable lifestyles
while understanding the costs and benefits
of natural resources.
PES
organizes tree plantation drives at its sites (planted over 10,000
saplings of different tree species) in its
quest for a greener earth.
PES
engages in distribution of fruit trees and asphalting of roads at
its sites resulting in the projects.
